Six Towns Under One Name
The City of Surrey officially splits itself into six communities, and that split is the most useful way to explain what we find.
City Centre and Whalley
The part of Surrey that went vertical, around Central City and the SkyTrain stations. Condo towers, service elevators, and dryers that vent into a shared stack with a secondary lint trap behind the machine. Give us the building name when you call.
Guildford
Right at the Port Mann end of Highway 1, which makes it the quickest part of Surrey for us to reach. Established family houses around the town centre, and larger, newer homes up in Fraser Heights with long duct runs and more than one furnace in some of them.
Fleetwood
The smallest of the six and almost entirely residential. Family houses and townhouse complexes, where the thing that slows us down is usually visitor parking rather than the job itself.
Newton
The most populous of the six. A lot of older detached houses and a lot of basement suites, which means two households, sometimes two sets of carpet and a shared furnace. Tell us if the house has a suite so we can plan the time.
Cloverdale
Old and new side by side. The historic main street and the older houses around the fairgrounds, then Clayton Heights next door, which is newer townhouses and family homes.
South Surrey
The biggest houses in the city. Morgan Creek and Grandview Heights especially: multiple floors, large rooms, often two furnaces and long duct runs. That's a longer appointment, but it's one appointment, and it's where booking everything together makes the most sense.
